libstemmer0d software package provides Snowball stemming algorithms for use in Information Retrieval, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libstemmer0d
libstemmer0d is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libstemmer0d package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libstemmer0d *
You will get with libstemmer0d package name, version, architecture and description in a table
